Bring Pinch Zoom Feature In Firefox Using This Interesting Add-on

admin September 26, 2016

Pinch zoom is a very interesting feature we use in Smartphones, tablets and other touch-enabled devices. All we need to do is use thumb and index finger to zoom in and out. Now we can use this same feature in Firefox browser using a very interesting add-on “Smart Zoom“. This add-on helps us zoom in and out a webpage the same way we do in smartphones i.e. via pinch zoom or double tap feature.

Instead of using our fingers, we can pinch zoom a webpage on Firefox browser using the mouse cursor. Just press n hold the mouse cursor and the webpage will be zoomed in. Do the same to bring back the webpage in the normal mode.

Did you see the GIF above? You can clearly see the use of pinch zoom (or double-tab to zoom) feature in Firefox browser using this add-on.

Give a space to this add-on in your Firefox browser and then you can make use of this add-on. To enable Smart Zoom, open a webpage, and just press and hold anywhere on that webpage. It will zoom in the content and you can easily read the content.

To zoom out, you can either press ESC or again press and hold the mouse cursor, and the webpage will come back in normal mode.

The add-on also comes with some options that you can adjust.
