Steps To Show or Hide Drive Letters In Windows 10:
1). Open File Explorer. Its hotkey is Win+E.
2). When File Explorer is opened, click on View tab, and then tap on Options.
3). Folder Options window will open.
4). In Folder Options window, select View tab. List of options will visible under Advanced Settings. Scroll down the list to find “Show drive letters” option. This option is enabled by default, because of which drive letters are visible. Uncheck this option, apply and save new setting.
This is it! You don’t have to refresh File Explorer or sign out and then sign in to see the changes. Just open File Explorer and you can see that drive letters are not visible.
When you have to show drive letters again, follow the above steps, select Show drive letters option and save it.
