Forwarding the emails is a basic thing that almost all of us do regularly. It also matters a lot for those who have profession related to this field, say email marketing. Even a regular user has this need, isn’t it! However, the problem is that there is no native option to forward multiple emails, neither in Gmail nor Outlook or some other email services. Only one email at a time can be forwarded at a time and that too when we open the email and use the Forward icon. So what if we need to forward emails in batch as backup or share multiple emails with someone else. Fortunately, there is a great extension available for Chrome that works with Gmail. Using that extension, we can forward multiple emails in Gmail to anyone for free. The name of this extension is “Multi Email Forward for Gmail“, provided by cloudHQ. The name itself clears a lot about this extension.
This Chrome extension is available free for personal use. However, the free plan is limited to 100 emails per day. Its premium plan offers unlimited email sharing. The free plan is limited of course but effective. You can also use it when you want to forward only one email without opening that email. Also, it works for all the labels. That means you can use it to forward emails from Inbox, Sent emails, Drafts, Starred, etc.
This extension adds a Forward button or icon just next to the Delete icon within your Gmail account. Once you have selected the emails, you can press that Forward button and then it opens a pop-up. Using that pop-up, you can enter the email address of the recipient to forward multiple emails in Gmail.
Let’s see the steps to help you use this extension.
Step 1: It’s a basic step in which you have to install this extension. I have placed its homepage link at the end. Once the extension is installed, it automatically opens Gmail in new tab. If you are already signed in, then your account will open directly. You won’t see any change untill you will select an email. As soon as you will select an email, you will see a Forward icon just next to the delete icon.
Click that Forward icon or select other emails that you want to forward and then click that icon.
Step 2: A pop-up will open. If you already have a cloudHQ account and you’re not logged in, then it will prompt you to login. Otherwise, it will first prompt you to create a new account.
Step 3: After login, you will see Multi Forward pop-up in which you need to enter the email address of the recipient. You can enter only one email address at a time. Enter the address and tap Forward Emails button.
This is it! Now the rest of the work to forward all those emails will be done by this extension. You can see the message on the top part of your Gmail which shows how many messages are forwarded out of the total selected emails.
You don’t have to wait till all the emails are forwarded. You can continue your work and even close Gmail. This extension takes care that all your emails must be forwarded to the recipient.
