AnyFormat is a free service to convert any file to PDF, DOCX, TXT, HTML, MOBI, EPS, DOC, and in some other format. It won’t be wrong to say that it is an all in one file converter service. You can upload a particular file and select the type of output format supported for the conversion. For example, if you are converting a PDF file, then supported output formats are: DXF, DOCX, ODT, RTF, MOBI, DOC, TXT, PDB, OEB, EPUB, GIF, BMP, JPG, ODD, TIFF, PNG, PSD, EMF, SVG, WMF, PS, etc.
As you see, it gives you dozens of options for the conversion. Everything is also very easy here. You provide input file and it will give you the converted file. The output can be saved to PC in a click.
AnyFormat is a very simple service and doesn’t force you to register an account. Without worrying about sign up process, you can directly use its interface to convert one format file to another. However, you should be careful before uplaoding some important file. It is so because nothing is mentioned anywhere related to what happens with uploaded file. If it is kept on servers or deleted after conversion. So for crucial files, I believe you shouldn’t take the risk. However for regular files (that can be shared publicly), you can definitely give a try to this service for conversion.
It has a basic interface (visible in above screenshot), but provides sufficient options for the conversion.
- Simple Online PDF Suite To Convert, Resize, Split, Optimize, Rotate PDF.
- All In One Free Unit Converter, Currency Converter, Scientific Calculator.
There is one more feature that you might like. You can convert an online file to any of the supported formats and save that file on your PC. Thus, apart from converting files available on your PC, you use it to convert some online PDF, DOC, HTML file, etc.
Enter the URL of online file or upload a file from PC. After that, the service automatically detects the format of the input file. Based on the format of input file, it automatically filters the output list and lets you select any of the filtered formats. Even if input format is not detected by this service, you can manually select it from the drop down menu, select output format, and use the Convert button. The file is uploaded and converted quickly. After that, you can give a tap to save the output on your PC.
So this is all about this service. AnyFormat is a good service and using it to convert any file to PDF or in other format is too easy. However, two things that I am not able to find out is that what is the maximum upload size for input file and does the service stores input and output files after conversion or both the files are deleted automatically after some time. There is no FAQ, contact, or comments section that would have been helpful to give all these answers. So apart from these questions, I find everything else good in this file conversion service. You are not forced to sign up or subscribe to some newsletter. Just a simple interface where you can convert one file to another format.
