Firefox Add-on To Control Volume When Watching Videos On Twitter

Twitter is famous and interesting in its own way of sharing media and having followers. Almost all of us use Twitter and spend hours on tweeting, sharing photos, and videos. There isn’t any problem watching videos on Twitter, except the fact that we can’t adjust the volume. Mute and unmute are the only options we got. So, what is the solution? Well, there is a solution for almost every problem and this one too has a solution. There is a Firefox add-on “Twitter Volume Control” that helps to adjust volume when watching videos on Twitter. The same add-on is also available for Chrome browser.

Twitter Volume Control Firefox add-on lets you control volume using the slider. When you place the mouse cursor over volume icon, a pop-up will open. That pop-up contains volume slider. Now you know what you have to do. Move that slider to control the volume.

You can see in the above image that there is a slider just above the volume icon.

This add-on does not have any other functionality apart from leveraging the volume adjustment of videos on twitter. So, the add-on is extremely easy to use.

Here are two very important points also needs to be considered:

  • This add-on also works when you are using Tweetdeck on Firefox.
  • It can help you control volume for native Twitter videos. The add-on won’t be helpful when you’re watching vine videos on Twitter.

So, if you are already impressed with this add-on, you can use the link given at the end of this article and enjoy watching videos on Twitter along with adjusting the volume as per your need.

One question that comes to my mind is that adjusting volume is a basic but very important option which should be available on Twitter natively. However, it is unfortunate to say that Twitter hasn’t come with this feature yet¬†(Twitter now supports this feature natively). Maybe, it will be a native feature of Twitter in future. Til then, Twitter Volume Control add-on is there to help us adjust volume while watching videos on Twitter.
